Security architect, engineer and penetration tester with over two decades of experience in network and systems security, security engineering, penetration testing and security audit at organisations such as Microsoft, Skype, Citigroup, Deloitte, the Institute of Cancer Research and the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Edgar was elected Chartered Fellow of the British Computer Society in 2006 and left Skype Division of Microsoft where he was Senior Security Advisor to set up Danielyan Consulting in 2013.
His qualifications include CREST Registered Technical Security Architect (2013), CREST Registered Penetration Tester (2014), AWS Certified Cloud Solutions Architect (2014), ISO 27001 ISMS Lead Auditor (2007), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP, 2003), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA, 2004), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM, 2006), Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP, 2004) and Information Systems Security Management Professional (ISSMP, 2005). He also holds a first class degree in philosophy & theology from the University of London and a postgraduate research degree in political philosophy from the University of Buckingham. He is a published author and has written books and articles for the New Riders Landmarks series and the Internet Protocol Journal published by Cisco Systems.
